Shibari has a long history in Japanese culture and has become popular in recent years as a form of BDSM play in different styles from Semenawa which is torture rope, to Aibunawa aka caressing rope.

Do I need a partner to attend a class or a private lesson?

Yes we require attendees come as tying pairs. We strongly recommend learning to tie with a dedicated tying partner. It is very beneficial to have feedback from your tying partner on a regular basis.

Do I need to have experience with shibari or BDSM to take a lesson?

No, you do not need to have any previous experience with shibari or BDSM to take a lesson. Our lessons are designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of their level of experience. Lessons are tailored based on the your skill level and aspirations.
